Cocotte has officially reopened. After 10 years, the space has a bold new look – but the things that made it a favorite steakhouse in Bangkok haven’t changed. The menu brings back the classics guests keep asking for. And the fire? Still the heart of every dish at Cocotte.
A New Space to Gather
After 10 years, Cocotte has entered a new chapter – with a space designed to feel warmer, more intimate, and more at home.
The refreshed interiors bring together rich red tiles, natural wood accents and softer, integrated lighting to create a warm glow that envelops the restaurant. New chairs and sofas add another layer of comfort, while the deeper colors and more considered details give the space a richer, more distinctive character.
Relaxed and welcoming by day, the atmosphere takes on a deeper, more intimate mood as evening falls, creating a space made for lingering a little longer. And while the space has evolved, the people behind it remain the same. The same team is here, bringing the same care and generosity that have shaped Cocotte for the past decade.
Provenance to the core
At Cocotte, great cooking starts long before the kitchen. For more than a decade, we’ve built relationships with farmers, producers and suppliers who share our standards – people who know their craft, care about what they produce, and understand that great ingredients don’t need much disguising. We work with trusted partners including Maison René, Westholme, Paradigm Food, Joe Sloane, and Gungadai bringing carefully sourced meats, seasonal produce and exceptional ingredients to the table. From the source to the plate, provenance remains at the core of Cocotte.
The Return of the Classics
Some dishes become part of a restaurant’s story. At Cocotte, a few have earned their place as true favorites.
For the reopening, much-loved Cocotte classics return alongside new creations. Think our irresistibly cheesy Mash Aligot, Wagyu Gyoza, Truffle Beef Carpaccio, Truffle Risotto, and a few surprises waiting to make their return.
Familiar, but never ordinary, these are the dishes that feel unmistakably Cocotte. The ones you remember, the ones you come back for, and perhaps a few you haven’t met yet.

The Fire Never Left

At Cocotte, fire has always been part of the experience.
Our signature open grill remains at the heart of the restaurant, now bringing a new level of live-fire cooking to the kitchen. High heat, open flame, and skilled hands transform carefully sourced cuts into steaks with deep char, rich flavor, and that unmistakable taste of the grill.
There is something elemental about cooking over fire – the heat, the aroma, the sound and the theatre of watching a great cut meet the flame. It’s a craft that has always defined Cocotte, and one that remains at the center of the experience today.
Experience the New Cocotte, Bangkok's Favourite Steakhouse
At its heart, Cocotte has always been about bringing people together – around the fire, around the table, and staying a little longer than planned.
For a steakhouse in Bangkok, the experience should be about more than the cut of meat on the plate. It’s about the room, the atmosphere, and most of all the people around the table. A long lunch that turns into another bottle. Dinner that runs later than planned. A birthday, a milestone, or a celebration shared around the table.
That spirit of conviviality remains at the heart of Cocotte. The space has evolved, the menu has grown, but the people behind it are still here – bringing the same generosity, attention to detail and love of hospitality that have defined Cocotte for the past decade.
This is the new Cocotte. See you at the table.
